Kenneth M. Walczak has substantial experience representing clients in the private and public sectors. As a litigator, he has won victories at every phase of state and federal court proceedings. As an advice attorney, he is skilled in counseling individuals and businesses of every size, on issues such as business entity formation, employment law, and regulatory compliance.
Kenneth has represented corporations and individuals in antitrust, unfair competition, breach of contract and breach of fiduciary duty matters. He has worked on behalf of both plaintiffs and defendants.
Previously, Kenneth worked in the San Francisco City Attorney’s Office, representing the City and County of San Francisco in labor and employment matters, complex civil litigation, affirmative litigation, and appeals. As a Deputy City Attorney, Kenneth won major published decisions from the California Court of Appeal, prevailed in significant labor arbitrations, and recovered millions of dollars for employees on behalf of San Francisco’s Office of Labor Standards Enforcement.
Prior to his work in the public sector, Kenneth served as Senior Counsel for Nassiri & Jung LLP, where he represented corporations and individuals in intellectual property, trade secret, and employment matters, and advised other law firms in attorney’s fees disputes. Before that, he worked on complex class actions, constitutional matters, and impact litigation with the firm of Rosen Bien Galvan & Grunfeld.
Kenneth has lectured at Yale Law School on the use of administrative subpoenas, and co-written articles on employment litigation and attorney’s fees law. He is also a magazine columnist and features writer, podcaster, restaurant reviewer, and judge of cocktail and spirits competitions.
